Gabriel “Gabe” Labat, LMFT in Los Angeles, Ca

Great to meet you!

My name is Gabe Labat , and I am a LMFT. My approach to therapy is compassionate and client-centered, focusing on creating a safe and supportive environment where we can collaboratively explore challenges and uncover strengths. I specialize in Men's issues, ADHD, and Anxiety tailoring evidence-based strategies to meet the unique needs of each individual or family.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices. I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and Person-Centered Therapy to help clients develop practical tools for growth and healing. Additionally, I integrate aspects of trauma-informed care, Solution-Focused Therapy, and psychodynamic principles as needed, tailoring my approach to each client’s unique goals and circumstances.

What you can expect from our first session

During our first session, clients can expect a welcoming and supportive space where we’ll begin to build a trusting therapeutic relationship. I’ll take time to learn about their background, current concerns, and what they hope to achieve through therapy. We’ll also discuss how the therapeutic process works, address any questions, and collaboratively set initial goals. My aim is to help clients feel comfortable and confident as we embark on this journey together
